Pafuri Specials
Finding the specials of Pafuri while getting great photos.
Trip Overview
We will be staying at a luxury tented camp in the North of the Kruger national park, which is know as the Garden of Eden for Birds. With more than over 400 species recorded in this area alone, makes this an incredible place to bird. There are also many special birds that you will only find here and not anywhere else in the country. This making it a must visit destination in South Africa for all birders. The landscape also provides lots of photographic opportunities too.

Arrive at Pafuri Tented Camps
We will arrive and have a chilled afternoon drive just to set the tone, looking for a few birds and getting to know each other at sun downers.
Crazy Birding
We will leave early to start our journey to look for all the specials including roosting Pels Fishing Owls. Will return to the lodge for breakfast and then do an optional drive around the park looking for any birds we can find in the middle of the day. We will then have an afternoon drive that starts early afternoon after high tea and goes into the night where we will try for Three banded Courser and other Night time species.
Crazy Birding day 2
We will be doing the same as day one. The optional between time will be a short light room editing session to help learn the ropes and get the most out of your images.
